Αυτό είναι το Don't be afraid of the dark των Praying Mantis, της nwobhm μπάντας των αδερφών Troy, με κιθαρίστα τον Dennis Stratton, τον πρώτο κιθαρίστα των Iron Maiden. Το κομμάτι είναι από τον δίσκο To the power of ten του 1995 και είναι λίγο επηρεασμένο από την έκρηξη του ευρωπαικού power εκείνης της περιόδου.

Αυτό είναι ένα άλλο Don't be afraid of the dark από την μπάντα Υ&Τ (Yesterday&Today) ένα επίσης ωραίο κομμάτι αλλά στο πιο σαλιάρικο.
Υπάρχει και μια ταινία με τον ίδιο τίτλο του 1973, ένα θρίλερ με κάποιου είδους τέρατα σε μια βικτωριανή έπαυλη, για περισσότερα στη στήλη ταινίες και nwobhm.
